Your St. Kate's Ambassador

St. Kate's ambassadors represent many of the University's more than 60 academic majors. However, not every major is represented. We will do our best to match your interests when arranging your visit; however we cannot absolutely guarantee that we will be able to accommodate each of your requests because of scheduling constraints.

When to Book Your Trip

Overnight visit requests must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. We are unable to provide overnight accommodations on Friday and Saturday nights, the first week of classes each semester, finals weeks, and school and holiday breaks. Please do not book your flight or other transportation until you have spoken with one of our visit coordinators directly. If you are planning to travel alone or have questions/concerns about traveling, please let us know and we will work with you on travel accommodations.

What to Bring

Visiting students spend the night in a residence hall with a current student in their dorm rooms. Visiting students will be given information on what to bring for their overnight visit, but should plan to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towels and other essential items they may need. There is always a chance that your overnight hostess may need to study or work on a project while you are here. In that case, please plan to bring a book, homework, or some other type of activity with you to work on during that time. Meals will be provided during your stay.

Requests and Questions

Please be sure to specify any special requests you have for your visit in the visit request form and our campus visit coordinators will do their best to accommodate those requests. If you have any questions about an Overnight visit and the information is not listed above, please let the campus visit coordinator know.
