What is your favorite St.Kate’s tradition? Walking to Menchies on the first day of school

What would your superpower be? I make great baked ziti and spinach artichoke dip, but have also found my inner leadership skills that I were not brought out until recently

Favorite place to hang out on campus? Or the best kept secret about St. Kate's? Best secret, St. Kate's was a registered bomb shelter during the Cold War. Also, there is an amazing hidden pool in Fontbonne. I love hanging out on the steps of the chapel, teal doors for the win.

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I loved meeting so many new people who were in the same position as you, and while I might not be as connected with most of them now. When we needed each other those first few weeks, we were one another's family and support system.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? I had wish I known how much the people around me were willing to help me. I came in so scared that I would be on my own, but those first days everyone was ready to help one another and it was amazing.

Name a character (cartoon or real) that you can relate to and why. Wendy from Peter Pan, she is motherly and kind, and fiercely advocates for her loved ones.

What is your favorite St.Kate’s tradition? Always supporting each other even if we don't really know each other.

Favorite place to hang out on campus? Or the best kept secret about St. Kate's? I love meeting people who otherwise I wouldn't have met. I also love that we get to come together and enjoy the festivities.

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? My favorite memory from orientation is the walk through the chapel with the candles! There was just this feeling of belonging!

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? Take the time to really cultivate your skills and get to know yourself. There are so many clubs and activities that you can join to get to know what you like and don't like. This is also a great way to meet new people who also like what you like! Be sure not to do too much your first year because it can be overwhelming.

Name a character (cartoon or real) that you can relate to and why. Yzma from Kuzco's New School--she's always willing to do anything to achieve her goal!

What would your superpower be? My superpower is making pun-ny/corny jokes to make others laugh and smile

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I love how orientation makes every student entering St. Kate's feel special and welcomed. The warm welcome makes students feel part of the community.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? Don't be afraid to be yourself. St. Kate's is a place where you can genuinely be yourself and continue to grow and blossom into who you want to be.

Name a character (cartoon or real) that you can relate to and why. Silvermist because she has a go-with-the-flow personality. She is a Water Fairy who can charm even the most stubborn dew drop. Sweet and sympathetic, she knows just how to lend a helping hand.

What would your superpower be? Yes, I am a shapeshifter.

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I love that I get to welcome the students to campus. It's a good way to maintain the community vibe of St. Kate's.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? You don't have to know everything at once. I would focus on what pertains to you specifically, whether that it's accommodation or res life questions and note those down. Orientation is a marathon so pace yourself well.

What would your superpower be? My super power is becoming a social worker!

Favorite place to hang out on campus? Or the best kept secret about St. Kate's? Dew Drop pond or the trees by the softball field (perfect for hammocking)

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? Orientation is a great way to connect with new and current students. Favorite memory would be getting dinner in Highland

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? Get involved. In work or in clubs just be involved and active! It builds such great friendships and brings many opportunities your way!

Do you work anywhere on or off campus? Off campus as a waitress at Vandy's Grille

What is your favorite St.Kate’s tradition? Popcorn Fridays and on the first day of school when you walk through campus and all of the professors are lined up and you walk through the crowd to the O'Shaughnessy

What would your superpower be? I am able to find positives in difficult situations.

Favorite place to hang out on campus? Or the best kept secret about St. Kate's? The library by the windows looking out to dew drop pond

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? It gives me a chance to meet new students and be a part of their first experience at St. Kate's. My favorite memory from my orientation would be the transfer student bonfire.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? Go to all the activities offered on campus and get involved. I wish i would have known about more.

Name a character (cartoon or real) that you can relate to and why? I'd say that I relate to the Powerpuff Girls because they aren't afraid to show off their personalities, they also work together to do whatever it takes to help others in need. AND they do all this while always looking cute!

What campus activities are you involved in? I am involved in Nurses of Color, Muslim Student Association, Student Nurses Association, and I am a Research Assistant

Do you work anywhere on or off campus? I work for Assistantship Mentor Program (AMP) as a research assistant and I also work in the school library. Off campus I am a CNA at a assisted living facility

What is your favorite St.Kate’s tradition? My favorite St.Kate's tradition would be Dew Drop Bop because it is so much fun! You get to eat a lot food and go on rides with friends.

What would your superpower be? I have yet to discover my superpower, but I would like to have the ability to have all the superpowers.

Favorite place to hang out on campus? Or the best kept secret about St. Kate's? I love hanging out in the Center for Women and MIPS office!

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I love orientation because it is a new beginning for many people and it is amazing to see friendships blossom during this time. Also the FREE FOOD!

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? My advice would be take risks and get out of your comfort zone. This is a time where you are able to grow as a person. Also utilize campus resources that are available to you.

What would your superpower be? My super power is finding connections with different people.

Favorite place to hang out on campus? Or the best kept secret about St. Kate's? The area between Dew Drop and the chapel. I made a great connection with my orientation leader and I still keep in touch with her even after three years.

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I loved transitioning from orientation to TRW with my orientation group.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? Make your needs known and people will help you get there!

Name a character (cartoon or real) that you can relate to and why. Katara from the Last Airbender; she's smart, kind, passionate and an awesome water bender and healer.

Do you work anywhere on or off campus? St. Catherine University Information Center Lead, I have my own photography business, and I work at three restaurants in Hudson

What is your favorite St.Kate’s tradition? Candle Ceremony for 1st years.

What would your superpower be? My super power would be to throw fire because I’m a redhead.

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I love orientation because you get to show new students how amazing St. Kate’s truly is. I loved walking throw all the teachers/faculty and having them cheer us on for being new to St. Kate’s.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? I think I would tell them to just be open to the process and try everything you can even if it’s uncomfortable.

Name a character (cartoon or real) that you can relate to and why. Princess Ariel, because I want to be a mermaid, and I think I’m pretty close since we look alike. Plus I’m already a princess so it just makes sense.

Why do you love orientation? What is your favorite memory from your orientation? I love orientation because it gives you a chance to meet new people. My favorite memory is being introduced to a couple of St. Kate's traditions and meeting some great people.

What advice would you give to incoming students? Is there anything you wish you would have known about? It's okay to be afraid and doubtful. Everyone goes through it when they first start college. St. Kate's is a place full of people you can be comfortable around and talk to. There are many people you can go to for advice and there are many resources available to you, which is something I wish I knew my first year.
