I love being an Occupational Therapist. I enjoy learning about how what we do enhances our lives. I have a strong belief in the foundation of activity in our profession, and how serving clients through occupation, based in creative application of evidence-based research, is efficient and effective, as well as imperative to recovery and well-being.
I have had the joy and privilege to serve as an OT in a hospital rehabilitation center (including neuro, orthopedic, Parkinson's, cardiac patients), in an adolescent chemical dependency program (including hearing and hearing impaired clients), in primary and secondary school settings, as an instructor at the University of Minnesota, and as a faculty at St. Catherine University.
When I am not learning and serving as an OT, I enjoy being with family (including my 3 young adult children), all water activities, music, and serving as a Sunday School guide for middle schoolers at my church.
