All total, I have taught fourteen separate History, CORE, and Honors courses at St. Kate’s, each of which support the University’s liberal arts orientation to educate women to think more critically and inclusively about our nation’s past and present.
Over the course of my academic career, I see great continuity in terms of my teaching and research interests: analyzing how issues of gender, race, social class and geographic region play out in American history. Through the creation of new courses, receiving a major external grant, and other scholarly pursuits, my understanding of these interests has deepened.
