I have taught nursing for Minnesota State University, Mankato, South Central College in Mankato, St. Olaf College in Northfield and most recently have taught mental health nursing at St. Catherine University in the dual degree program.

I have worked for Allina Health as a staff RN on a secure Behavioral Health unit for the past ten years. My past clinical experience includes medical neurology, med/surg, home health care, long term care, and private home care for a vent dependent quadriplegic gentleman.

My areas of interest include LGBTQ health, specifically transgender health, public health, cultural diversity, and social justice.
