David Stricker joined the St. Catherine faculty in 2016 as the Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Teacher Licensure. He maintains an active research agenda that includes working with practicing and aspiring teachers in developing curricula that facilitates understanding of STEM concepts, with an emphasis on engineering education. He has experience teaching courses relative to teacher education at the undergraduate and graduate education such as Curriculum, Methods, and Assessment, Pre-clinical Field Experience, Student Teaching, Action Research, Integration Seminar, Foundations of Research, Adult Education, Quantitative Research Methods, and Applied Statistical Methods for Education. In addition, he has taught a wide array of concepts in middle and high school environments in a variety of urban, suburban, and rural settings.
