I have extensive experience in global health, specifically in the field of sexual and reproductive health. My content areas of expertise include family planning, gender dynamics, infertility, and quality of care. Most of my work and research has been conducted in sub-Saharan Africa as well as with African-born communities in the U.S. I incorporate both quantitative and qualitative methods into my research to obtain a more holistic understanding of a health issue.

  • Exploring the influence of gender and relationship dynamics on sexual and reproductive health attitudes and behaviors
  • Measurement of infertility in low- and middle-income countries
  • Quality of sexual and reproductive health care in sub-Saharan Africa
