Brenda joined the OSOT department at St. Catherine University in 2007 after twenty four years of clinical practice as an occupational therapist. She is responsible for teaching research, clinical kinesiology, biomechanical concepts, and masters project courses. She served on the University Faculty Council in 2012–2014 and participated in the 2012, 2013, 2014 Interprofessional Clinical Scholar Programs. Brenda is currently involved in research with the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota to determine the efficacy of a community based fatigue, physical activity, stress and pain self-management programing. Her clinical background includes experience with adult rehabilitation, hand therapy, work hardening, clinic administration and supervision.
