What can I do with an MSM degree?

New college graduates face intense competition for entry-level management positions. Today's hiring managers seek out candidates with graduate degrees. But, to gain admission to most MBA programs, you'll need years of work experience.

St. Kate's innovative MSM degree program provides you with both: you'll get the experience you need to rise above the competition—and you'll enter the job market with a management degree from a leading university. You will graduate ready for entry-level consulting and management positions.

How will I study?

The 36-credit MSM is a one-year intensive graduate program. Classes meet evenings on our St. Paul, MN campus, with online interaction between face-to-face meetings. Some program components meet on weekends.

Practical, hands-on business learning experiences are woven throughout the program. You'll get intensive career coaching and assistance gaining internships. You'll develop a business network and connect with industry professionals.

MSM faculty and coaches will connect you to one of the most dynamic business environments in the nation. St. Kate's MSM learning laboratory is in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN—home to 17 Fortune 500 companies and a growing business economy.

Courses develop your business, analytical and communication skills and give you a solid foundation in management essentials. St. Kate's MSM transforms individuals into leaders who value ethics, social justice and diversity. The curriculum enhances your knowledge of the global marketplace and challenges you to think critically about yourself, your colleagues and your work.
