In our business administration marketing certificate program, you’ll combine professional excellence with the innovative thinking needed to create a better world for your business, clients and communities.

Businesses need professionals who understand how to integrate a variety of marketing tools — from traditional media to social networks — to tell their stories, build their brands and engage their audiences. With our IMC certificate, you’ll be prepared to work in marketing communications, public relations, advertising, marketing management and related functions in businesses and other organizations, in agency settings or as independent consultants.

how will I study?

Our 15-credit IMC certificate can be completed in 9 months*. Each course meets just one evening per week on our St. Paul campus, with online interaction between face-to-face sessions. The IMC certificate courses may also be used to fulfill degree requirements in our Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Our students are positive agents of change, well prepared to confidently lead and influence. The themes of innovation, social responsibility, and global perspectives are woven throughout the curriculum through case studies, guest lectures and course work.

*If you haven’t taken a general marketing course (at the undergraduate or graduate level) and don’t have work experience in marketing, you’ll complete our Marketing Management course as well, for a total of 18 credits that can be completed in 11 months.

Tuition and Financial Aid

For the 2017-18 academic year, the tuition rate for the IMC certificate is $890 per credit. Tuition rates are subject to change annually on June 1. Additional costs for the program will include fees for student services and technology, books, etc.

Many graduate students are eligible for financial aid, usually in the form of student loans. Another potential source of funding is tuition benefits from current employers.

In addition, St. Catherine’s IMC certificate students employed by one of our corporate partners may be eligible to receive a special corporate partner scholarship, reducing tuition costs by 10%.
