The Business Administration: Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) certificate from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN prepares you to take the next step forward in your career. In less than one year, you’ll gain a unique skill-set in traditional and digital marketing, branding, social media, and marketing analytics.

Businesses need professionals who understand how to integrate a variety of marketing tools — from traditional media to social networks — to tell their stories, build their brands and engage their audiences. With our IMC certificate, you’ll be prepared to work in marketing communications, public relations, advertising, marketing management and related functions in businesses and other organizations, in agency settings or as independent consultants.
Our 15-credit IMC certificate can be completed in 9 months*. Each course meets just one evening per week on our St. Paul campus, with online interaction between face-to-face sessions. The IMC certificate courses may also be used to fulfill degree requirements in our Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

*If you haven’t taken a general marketing course (at the undergraduate or graduate level) and don’t have work experience in marketing, you’ll complete our Marketing Management course as well, for a total of 18 credits that can be completed in 11 months.

For the 2019–20 academic year, the tuition rate for the IMC certificate is $942 per credit. Tuition rates are subject to change annually on June 1. Additional costs for the program will include fees for student services and technology, books, etc.
Many graduate students are eligible for financial aid, usually in the form of student loans. Another potential source of funding is tuition benefits from current employers.
St. Catherine offers scholarship support for new students pursuing the IMC certificate. Apply to start in F’19 or Sp’20 to be considered for up to $3,000 in scholarship funding:
Scholarship funding is limited – priority consideration is given to individuals who complete the application process by the Fall/Spring application deadlines.
In addition, St. Catherine’s IMC certificate students employed by one of our corporate partners may be eligible to receive a special corporate partner scholarship, reducing tuition costs by 10%.
