CNA Certificate Training

Play a critical role in caring for older adults physically —as well as emotionally, socially, mentally and spiritually.

Overview and Benefits

We are excited to offer combined Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Certificate Training sessions, open to all St. Kate’s students at a lower cost than other area certificate classes. The program fee is an all inclusive cost, and at completion you will have your CNA licenses and AHA card.

Sessions for the 2017-2018 academic year will be offered in January 2018 and May 2018. Each session is approximately two and a half weeks long and includes a combination of in-class, clinical and testing days.

Certificate Costs:

  • $1030 – early bird registration
  • $1100 – regular registration

The certificate training fee includes class fee, clinical background check, Mantoux TB test, exam fees, and AHA card fee. Scrubs, additional TB testing, fingerprinting fees, and additional retests are at the cost of the student.

Limited need-based financial assistance is available. Applications are open during the early bird registration window.

Specific dates and registration information for the January 2018 session will be posted here when announced.

In the event that we do not meet our minimum enrollment numbers, the CNA and BLS training will be cancelled and all payments refunded.
