Welcome from Dean Weyandt

Dean, College for Adults

Welcome to the College for Adults at St. Kate’s. We stand committed to delivering an educational experience for adults unlike any other: one that is focused on you as a unique individual and one that will propel you to achieve all that you envision.

Whether you seek to change or advance your career through a certificate, an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree, our programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of busy (work, life, homework) adult learners like you. Our programs are offered in flexible evening, weekend and hybrid/online formats for working professionals, and our student support services align with your needs and your schedule.

We pledge to you that you will graduate "St. Kate's Ready,” with the confidence and skills to help you stand out from the crowd. Your education will prepare you to think critically and independently, to express yourself confidently, and to act ethically. In short, you will be prepared to be a leader because you will know how to think, how to ask questions, and how to make critical decisions. Whether your career is in healthcare, business, education, science or industry, you will find that employers place high value on these critical skills and competencies.

In the College for Adults, whether you take classes online or in person, you are a part of the St. Kate’s community. You will be surrounded by faculty and staff who are committed to your success. Our classes are small, so you will get to know your professors and your classmates, and they will get to know you. You’ll leave St. Kate’s with a network of support that will last a lifetime.

At St. Kate’s, we are passionate about helping our adult learners launch a new career, a higher-level job or a graduate degree. But most importantly, we are passionate about meeting your expectations, valuing your experiences and supporting your pursuit of leadership and influence in your career and your community.

We are delighted that your journey brings you to St. Kate’s.
