The exercise science and nutrition bachelor's degree is also excellent preparation for graduate school in programs such as exercise physiology or sports medicine and for health science careers in sports medicine, dietetics and injury management. You also have the option to pursue additional courses to become a licensed nutrition counselor.
A St. Kate’s exercise science and nutrition major incorporates a variety of courses in exercise and sport science and family, consumer and nutritional science.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty on research projects in The Women’s Health Integrative Research (WHIR) Center, a multidisciplinary, state-of-the-art research and teaching facility at St. Kate’s. You will also have the opportunity to work as a personal trainer for faculty in "Exercise Testing and Prescription" so you leave St. Kate’s with experience in your field.
