Opportunities for Internships and Interdisciplinary Teamwork
A St. Kate's degree in healthcare sales integrates the critical thinking and problem-solving focus of a broad-based liberal arts education with professional sales preparation. All our courses are designed to prepare you to lead and succeed in this specialized, competitive field.
Internships will give you the opportunity to refine your skills, broaden your perspective, and forge valuable professional connections.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in sales competitions or the unique Mayo Innovation Scholars Program, which features interdisciplinary teams creating plans for Mayo Clinic inventions.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for experienced sales managers is expected to grow faster than the average for other jobs in the next decade. The healthcare sales degree from the St. Paul campus of St. Kate's will prepare you to succeed in sales in a variety of company profiles, including:
- medical device manufacturers
- health products companies
- pharmaceutical corporations
- healthcare insurers
A healthcare sales degree will also position you to pursue graduate studies in food and nutrition, biology, medicine, or business administration.
