During January term and every summer, we offer more than 30 different classes in locations across the world. Many are led by our faculty, and many fulfill degree requirements. Others are available through our consortium affiliations, the Upper Midwest Association for Intercultural Education (UMAIE) and the Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA), for example.
St. Kate's students can take advantage of experiential, cross-cultural learning programs through a wide variety of semester or year-long study-abroad experiences. Many types of affordable programs are available. Contact Global Studies for more information, or use the online program search.
All students planning independent study, research, internship, or clinical experiences for credit must complete these application materials and submit to Global Studies at least 60 days before departure. Once you have submitted the information, please contact Global Studies for follow-up. Please note: If your experience abroad will take place in a country with a current US Department of State Travel Warning, you must first complete and submit the Travel Warning Petition for review by the Global Studies Advisory Committee. Begin this process early. For information on independent opportunities or with questions about the materials, please contact Global Studies.
