Rewarding Work in a Rapidly-Growing Field
The core of public health is concerned with social responsibility for population health, as well as ethical and social justice issues related to the health of diverse and global populations. Public health workers with a global perspective are needed to help close the gaps in basic public health services such as immunizations, nutrition, clean water, and other prevention and treatment services.
You’ll develop an understanding and appreciation for the principles and approaches in ethical reasoning, human rights, and social justice.
Our diverse teaching and course delivery methods cultivate the development of innovative and influential public health leaders. A combination of lectures, applied activities, service learning experiences, and international field work will build your skills in collaboration, program management, and strategic analysis.
St. Kate’s master's in public health program will prepare you to reduce health disparities and address disease prevention around the world and in your community.
Our graduates work in government institutions, nonprofit agencies, hospitals and clinics, and a variety of other organizations to:
- design, implement, and evaluate global health programs and policies
