Stacy Jacobson

Chief of Staff, Secretary of the Corporation

Stacy Jacobson is a member of the President’s Cabinet, secretary to the Board of Trustees and Secretary of the University Corporation.

She is responsible for University-wide events, including commencement ceremonies, opening convocations and employee and retirement events. She organizes Board of Trustee meetings, agendas and schedules and is staff liaison to three Board committees (Executive, Sponsorship and Education) as well as the Committee on Trusteeship and Governance. In her role as Secretary of the University Corporation, she is responsible for the all governance documents.

Jacobson joined St. Catherine in 1988 as Assistant Director for Special Programs, responsible for orientation programs, parents’ events and student staffing of reception desks as well as advisor to the student newspaper. She also served as Associate Director and then Director of Residence Life responsible for residence life operations and the student residence hall association. In addition, she was advisor to the Weekend College Student Advisory Board. She joined the President’s Staff in 2001.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Business from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and received a Master of Education degree from North Dakota State University, Fargo.
