From May 2013–May 2016, Angela Riley was Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Imperial Plastics, Inc. in Lakeville, MN. She was a key member of their executive management team and was directly responsible for all financial planning, management and reporting for a $110+ million privately held contract manufacturing company. She was directly responsible for the company’s finance, information technology, human resource, legal, compliance, risk management, banking and investor relations functions. Prior to Imperial Plastics, Inc., Riley was the Chief Financial Officer at Northern Contours, Inc. in Mendota Heights, MN.
Before joining Northern Contours, Inc. in 2011, Riley worked as a Professional Company Director in Western Australia, where she was a recognized leader in delivering best practice governance, oversight and management to a portfolio of commercial and not-for-profit organizations. She served as a nationally recognized, accredited facilitator for Australia’s premier organization in board governance, training and advocacy, specializing in governance for indigenous organizations. For seven years, she was also the co-owner/manager of a 5000+ acre Australian, 3rd generation family farm where she managed all the financial aspects of the business.
Riley’s undergraduate degree in accounting (’84 BA) was earned from St. Catherine University. Her MBA was earned from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota in 1996. She is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is President of the Twin Cities Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).
