The
Gallery displays the work done by St. Kate Computer Science classes.
Working with computers today requires not only technical competence
but also creative problem solving skills. Homework problems seek
to encourage both of these talents.
The Gallery is also a reference for computer science students. It
contains codes and tools that may be useful to a CS programmer.
What
programming skills do these exhibits show?
These activities demonstrate the concepts learned in class, but
in a creative manner. All runnable projects are presented here to
show you varying degrees of success past students have had with
mastering particular concepts. Each exhibit is an accomplishment
for each student. While creativity is important, it is still imperative
to learn the actual concepts.
There is nothing magic about computers, after all, they were created
by human beings like yourself. Feel free to talk with any of the
students in the class or with the instructor to see if these classes
might be for you.
