Intelligent Design
I used several forms of intelligent design to make my webpage more interesting and interactive, and to help present information more effectively.
- Prompt: My homepage welcomes the visitor by asking their name and personalizing the introduction to the website.
- Randomize: The top picture on my 'About Me' page is selected randomly from a group of three pictures to make the webpage more dynamic.
- Slide show: At the bottom of the 'About Me' page is a slide show of pictures from my trip to Chicago that lets the visitor interact and saves space on the page.
- Rollovers: On the 'Likes' page, the album cover art changes whenever the mouse rolls over the corresponding band name, making the page more interesting to the viewer.
- Style: I followed the Design Principles presentation when it was appropriate to make the webpage easy and pleasant to view and navigate.
