Volunteer Opportunities

Suits You is volunteer-driven and relies on the support of its community to deliver services to disadvantaged women. Below are some examples of ways that volunteers can help Suits You. Please note that not all positions are available all the time.

Personal Shopper

Work one-on-one with clients to help them select their professional attire and to provide support as they prepare for their interviews. This is an enjoyable way to boost women’s confidence and prepare them for interviews and the workforce.

Computer Assistant


Assist clients create resumes, cover letters and apply for jobs on the Internet in our computer lab. Answer questions if clients are not familiar with Microsoft Word or using the Internet.

Lecturing, Speaking and Educating

We offer many types of workshops and information sessions to our clients. Please see our detailed Workshop Page for more information on the types of workshops we offer. We need volunteers who are educated about these topics who want to spread their knowledge to women-in-need.

Administrative Work

Help Suits You with tasks such as reception, answering phones, updating databases and other similar administrative duties. If you have office skills and would like to volunteer, we hope you will donate your time as little or as much as you would like.

Shop Maintenance

Organize the apparel that we receive, sort donations, keep track of inventory, organize racks and shelves and make sure our place is clean and straight.
