After looking again at the survey that we took at the beginning of the class, I feel that there is much that I learned throughout this class. While looking at the technology terms, I see that I know what many are that I did not previously know. I still don’t know exactly what certain fields have to do with the development of the computers, especially basketball and material science. Some societal issues are still a surprise to me as to how they would have affected the development. One thing that comes to mind would be the Denver airport construction in the mid 1990’s. Overall, I feel that I have learned about most of the things listed on the survey.

This course really helped with my technological literacy. I feel confidant that I could describe to a computer technician the problems that I am having or the port that I am talking about. I also feel confidant that I could research a computer system and find one that is right for me.

In the end, I am very glad that I took this class because I really feel that I have learned valuable lessons that will help me in my major, or in life in general. One day I would really like to have my own accounting business, and it is nice to be able to understand certain language that will further my career.
