The mission of St. Helena Catholic School is to develop the spiritual, academic, emotional, and physical character of each child in partnership with parents and the parish community. Instruction is founded on the Catholic Faith, encouraging a life of service, devotion, and the pursuit of social justice. All members are expected to be responsible, respectful, safe, and like Christ.
The philosophy of St. Helena Catholic School is to foster a love of learning and to maximize the potential of each child by recognizing and valuing the uniqueness of the individual. Students are taught and expected to work to the best of their abilities, to be responsible for their actions, and to be respectful of the school and community. Each student entrusted to our care is expected to be an integral part of maintaining a safe environment. Students are encouraged to be active members of their faith community, to enter into the sacramental life of the parish, and to use their talents for the benefit and service of others. All are encouraged to live a life of faith, hope, and love of God and neighbor.
St. Helena School lays a solid academic foundation. Expectations are high, and a dedicated teaching staff creates a nurturing environment that supports learning and fosters academic excellence.
The core curriculum of math, science, language arts, social studies and religion is the foundation for academics. In addition, we offer music, art, computer science, library, French, and physical education to all grades.
Many of our students go on to achieve the highest honors in high school and college.
