In order to have a productive learning environment, we must have rules that govern our classroom to promote good behavior, respect, and to develop a sense of community. At the beginning of the year, the entire class sat down and listed those things that they would like to see as their "rules". The following list is our "Top Five" that we all strive to adhere to. We have all signed a written copy of this list that states that we are in favor of these rules and we will do our best to follow them.
1. RESPECT EACH OTHER AT ALL TIMES
2. ALWAYS SAY "PLEASE", "THANK YOU", "EXCUSE ME"
3. RAISE YOUR HAND TO SHOW YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY
4. DON'T HOG THE CONVERSATION. LET EVERYONE HAVE A CHANCE TO SPEAK.
5. ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE TEACHER WHEN HE/SHE IS TALKING.
