Java Intelligence.

*An alert box was used at the beginning of the index web page to alert vistors to adjust the volume for music.

*On the index page Conditionals were used to interact with visitors and build trust (mainly class participants) by asking them their major field of study.

*On the home (neighborhood) web page rollover code was used to introduce another neighbor and another neighbor dog and build familiarity.

*On the Carol web page a quiz was created to interact with the vistor which includes radio buttons and GUI buttons.

*On the Carol web page a slide show was created to show alternate pictures of Carol.

HTML Intelligence.

*Embedded is the theme song to the Austin Powers movie on the 1st page of the show to play one loop (one song), so that the song would run the duration of the first six slides. A control box is at the top of the first page, so that the viewer can mute, change the volume,or stop the music.

*Embedded is the song "The Rainbow Connection" from the Muppets movie on the 7th page. A control box is also at the top of the screen, so that the viewer can mute, change the volume,or stop the music.

*Links to other pages are at the bottom of each page, so the viewer can navigate in the intended sequence by clicking on the link at the top of the list, or the viewer has the option of jumping to another page or back to the main page.

*Created slide show between the Web_Page_4_coworkers.html slide and the Web_Page_4a_Joy.html slide to create a continuity between related slides.

*Web page links to ADC Telecommunications, picture sources and background sources (opening in a separate window) were used and stragetically located for the viewer to reference.

*Formatting, such as bolding, italics, changing font size, centering text, paragraphs, multiple headings, as well as ampersand and copyrighting characters (see 1st and 7th pages) were used.

*Background colors were used, as well as background wallpapers on 1st and 7th pages to add interest and motion.

*Table formatting, including rowspan and colspan tags were used on the "Web_Page_4a_Joy.html. This variation allowed text on all 4 sides of the picture.

*Appropriate pictures from the web were used (see Web_Page_3.work.html), as well as personal photographs were used.
