All About Me
I grew up in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. I am the youngest of four children and have three older sisters. I graduated from the Convent of the Visitation and then went onto earn my degree at The College of Saint Catherine. I earend my Bachlor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a Middle School Specialty in Mathematics. I love spending time at the lake in the summer with my family and friends. I also love to downhill ski in the winter. I like watching movies and going out to dinner with my friends. During my junior year of college I studied abroad for a semester in London. There I was given the opportunity to work in a school for three months. I learned a lot about the schooling system there and it was such a cool experience! I hope I can tell you all stories about the experience and we can integrate it into our classroom experience! I am 22 years old and this is my second year of teaching and I am loving it. I look forward to a great year filled with lots of fun.
What to look forward to this year
This year is going to be filled with fieldtrips to the State Capitol and Science Musuem, projects about the United States and students, lots of reading and writing. We are going to be learning about fractions in math, the Government in Social Studies, read materials about the history of the United States in Literature, and much more. I hope you are as excited for this year as I am.
