The Royal Pavilion
is a former royal residence located in Brighton, England.
It was built in the 19th Century as a seaside retreat for the then Prince Regent.
The palace stands out in the middle of Brighton,
having a very Indian appearance on the outside.
However, the fanciful interior design, primarily by Frederick Crace and Robert Jones firm,
is heavily influenced by both Chinese and Indian fashion

A major tourist attraction is the pebble beach, which has a variety of bars, restaurants,
night clubs and amusement arcades. Together with the attractions further inland,
these contribute to Brighton being sometimes erroneously referred to as "London-by-the-sea";
