SLMS Program Registration Form

Afte being accepted to the MLIS program, students should print out the SLMS/MLIS form and return it to Debbie Yang, Assistant Office Manager in room 43 Coeur de Catherine if they are interested in the SLMS program. After the MLIS office receives the form, students will be coded as SLMS which will be a requirement for specific SLMS courses.

Required Courses

The following program of nine specific courses and three electives (36 semester hours), plus field experience and education courses, meets the requirements for the MLIS degree plus the Minnesota School Library Media Specialist license.

Extra Credit Requirements

Students who do not hold Minnesota teaching credentials also must complete the following courses:
