Biography

Suzanne Miller is the Minnesota State Librarian. The former South Dakota State Librarian, she worked and taught for over 20 years in academic law libraries in California. She has always been active in local and national professional associations often serving as an officer. Currently she chairs the Chief Officers of State Library Association' Research and Statistics Committee and is a member of the NISO Z39.7 Standing Committee. Suzanne has published articles in the Journal of Juvenile law, contributed chapters to published handbooks, and co-authored a practical guide to US Government Documents. Her passion is theatre arts where she has served in many leadership capacities for local theatre companies and foundations. She also enjoys traveling, reading, dancing, and crocheting.
