MLIS Curriculum

Curriculum with Descriptions

View the Master of Library and Information Science curriculum at the online graduate studies academic catalog. This is a comprehensive list with descriptions that delineate course objectives.

Course Schedule by Term

You can also view course offerings by term through the Banner System, then choose from the terms in the drop down box. The next step is to narrow down your search you will want to look at by choosing "Library and Information Science" and then the graduate program.

Also available under "Courses and Schedules" are "Course Schedules." Course Schedules list courses offered for a specific term such as Fall 2007 in a word format.

Note that course descriptions are not included with the Banner system or the course schedule. We refer you to schedules so that you can get a sense of the electives we offer. Cross-reference classes that intrigue you with the course descriptions (above); some courses may be offered only once yearly.
