What is this webspace all about?
This webspace is a repository
of various items that you may useful in your teaching.
They are divided into 3 main areas:
Research--this deals with research projects that I am involved with
(WARIE, Anaglyph maps) at the college as well as educational research
that you might find useful;
Links--links to various St. Kate's sites (Education Department, 3M Mentor
program, ITN, etc.), as well as educational and science based websites;
News--information 'hot off the presses' or perhaps 'keys' as well as
opportunities for pre-service educators and newly graduated teachers. |

Interested in learning about Anaglyph maps?
What are anaglyph maps? These are maps which appear as 3D when
you wear the 3D glasses that you wear when you go to a movie. Dr.
Murphy was involved with some research about using these maps in
the five schools around the metro. More >>
What's happening between the education and science departments?
A number of grants in the past year have created some new opportunities
for education and science faculty to work together. Now a 3M grant
is funding the creation of a new STEM minor for education students.
