During spring finals week of my first year, I was looking for a place to study and take a nap. All the couches and chairs on the third floor of Coeur de Catherine were taken, and the library was full of people — except for the basement of the library.
I found this spot with big windows that overlook Dew Drop Pond. Now, I come here whenever I am stressed out, and I practically live here during finals week. It's so secluded and quiet. It's a great place to read a book. This place makes me feel relaxed and calm.
