Public Art on St. Kate's St. Paul Campus

| << Zerogee, a sculpture by Paul Granlund, was a 1983 gift
from Helen and Thomas Coughlan, friends of the College. It
is located in the courtyard between Coeur de Catherine and
the Chapel.
The Margaret Mary McGuire Memorial Rose Garden,
commissioned in 2004 by Kathryn McGuire Ryder '36, is
shaped like the College logo and located west of Coeur de
Catherine. It includes "Rosa St. Catherine" a rose honoring
St. Catherine's 2005 Centennial. >>

<< Our Lady of Guadalupe, a ceramic tile painting by I. Uriarte
and imbedded in Coeur de Catherine's southeast wall, was
a gift to Ann Harvey, CSJ, by Dr. and Mrs. Alfred J. Ouellette
in 1975.
Our Lady of Peace, a statue funded by May Fete activities
and dedicated Oct. 8, 1943, is located east of the Coeur
de Catherine learning commons/library. >>

 | << The Bronze Lions, located by the north entrance, was a
1921 gift from Patrick H. Rahilly, father of Mary E. McCahill,
who was a founding member of the College's original Board
of Trustees and a close advisor to Mother Antonia McHugh.
The Statue of the Sacred Heart, located west of Derham
Hall, was financed by alumnae pledges and installed in
1923 by the College of St. Catherine Alumnae Association. >>

 | << St. Francis of Assisi, a 1987 bronze statue by Peter Lupori,
a St. Catherine's professor emeritus of art, was commissioned
for the Patrick and Alice Schreiber Rogers English
Garden located west of Whitby Hall.
Our Lady, a bronze by Peter Lupori, is located west of the
Chapel. Its 1998 installation marked the $1.5 million campaign
completion and the restoration of the Chapel exterior. >> |  |
