I would like to
thank my advisor for this project, Dr. Martha Phillips. She provided a great deal of help and
inspiration throughout the process of identifying the plants and creating the
guide. I would also like to thank the
other members of my honors committee, Dr. Yvonne Ng and Dr. Cindy Norton for
their assistance. The biology
department at the College of St. Catherine was also very helpful. I am very grateful for the support from Dr.
Diane Heacox, the director, as well as the entire Honors Program. Finally, I would also like to thank my
family for their encouragement, especially my assistant, Luke.
