The
plant grows white or pink flowers that are funnel shaped (8). The
flowers bloom in the summer and fall. The flowers open in the morning and
close in the afternoon. There are 5 sepals hidden by 2 bracts.
The leaves are simple and arranged in an alternate pattern (10). It grows in a climbing vine and is found in
fields, roadsides and open woods. Hedge bindweed is found throughout North
