Keeping in line with our investigations of many particles in a physical system, we intend to consider several situations that represent physical systems. Your job will be to control these systems and answer associated questions:
1. Go to the web
site that contains physical http://physics.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fjersey.uoregon.edu%2Fvlab%2FThermodynamics%2Findex.html
You will do experiments
1, 4, 5, 6, 7. These involve the mixing of gases of N particles at different
temperatures. You control the mixing. Basically, when you click on the
RED bar between the containers, it turns GREEN and is an open door. Red
is closed, Green is open. When open, particles can cross over to the other
side. When you have the right number of particles and the thermal conditions
have equalized, answer the questions. Do this for the five different equations.

2. For your write up, share with the reader not just the answer to the questions, but what you learned? Any special procedures, facts about how mixing or thermal equilibrium takes place, etc that you want to share with the reader?
3. Summarize what
you have learned by doing this simulation.
