Programs
MIPS strengthens community among students of color and international students through the following programs:
- Peer Mentoring - Second, third and fourth year students of color work as Peer Mentors to assist in the academic, emotional, and social successes of first-year students of color.
- Student Organizations - Time, space, and resources for students so that they can create a nurturing, expressive, and supporting environment among themselves and with the greater St. Kate's community.
- Shadow Days - MIPS student organization members volunteer to have high school women of color shadow them to experience "a day in the life" of a St. Kate's student. These days take place in both the fall and spring semester.
- Friendship Families - This program pairs international students with American families.
