Why does St. Catherine University promote Give to St. Kate’s Day instead of Give MN’s Give to the Max?
Give to St. Kate’s Day is inspired by GiveMN’s Give to the Max Day, a one-day online giving promotion to help all Minnesota non-profits raise funds. St. Kate’s donors can still participate in GiveMN’s Give to the Max Day if that is preferred. The University has chosen to create a unique day of giving reaching out to a broad audience of alumnae and friends who live nationally and internationally.

Our goal: To raise $50,000 for the St. Kate's Annual Fund within 24 hours; to bring in 50 new donors; to come together as a community to support current students. Does my contribution really make a difference?
Organizations that rank U.S. colleges and universities look at alumnae participation as an indicator of the quality of an institution. Your gift, when combined with the thousands of other gifts from alumnae and friends, adds up to big support for St. Kate's students. Your gift makes a statement that St. Catherine University is an institution worth investing in.
