Phlebotomy Department Catalog Information

Many of St. Catherine’s phlebotomy students find a job even before they graduate in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and home health-care and blood-donor agencies. Salaries in this field begin at about $26,000 a year.

Phlebotomists draw blood samples from patients to provide physicians with valuable information about a patient’s health status. You can earn a phlebotomy certificate in just 15 weeks by completing our competency-based program.

  • Six weeks of clinical experience give you real-world skills.

APPLYING TO THE PROGRAM:

Students can apply for the Phlebotomy program for Fall 2008 beginning April 1, 2008.
