Grants and Scholarships

The programs below are all need based and require no repayment.

Federal Pell Grant
Amount: $400 to $4,000 per year
Issued to undergraduate students by the college on the basis of federal funds and specifications.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant
Amount: $300 to $1,500 per year
Federally funded grant for exceptionally needy undergraduate students who attend college at least half time.

 

 

Minnesota State Scholarships Grants-in-aid
Amount: $100 to $7,770
State-awarded scholarships and grants to undergraduate Minnesota residents.

Minnesota Indian Scholarship
Amounts vary
State-awarded scholarships for Minnesota residents of at least one-fourth American Indian ancestry, members of a recognized Indian tribe and approved by the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Committee.

St. Catherine Grants
Amounts vary up to $2,500
College funds used to help students with special needs.

St. Joseph Grants
Amounts vary up to $1,000
College funds used to assist multicultural students.

Child Care Grants
Amount: $200 to $3,000 per year
The college administers the Minnesota child-care funds as well as provides assistance from its own resources. Amounts vary depending on income and number of children.
