How to apply for financial aid

1. Apply for admission to the College of St. Catherine. See How to Apply for details.

2. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online using the previous year's tax returns. You will need to get a PIN number from FAFSA to sign your application.

3. Be sure to like the College of St. Catherine (code #002342) as the recipient of the information. St. Kate's will not receive the information unless you list us on the FAFSA.

 

4. Complete and submit the CSC Financial Aid Application online. For priority consideration, all documents must be received before April 15, 2008.

5. We will evaluate all of your application materials. The process begins when your financial aid file is complete and you have been accepted to the school.

6. We will notify you, by mail, of your financial aid package, between six and eight weeks after receiving your FAFSA information.

7. You may receive notice that we need additional materials. These materials are required to complete your file. Submit them as soon as possible. They can be sent to the Office of Financial Aid, The College of St. Catherine, 601 25th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55454 or faxed to 651.690.8119.

8. We will credit your financial aid funds to your student account after classes begin. If there is excess aid, you will receive a refund check by mail.
