The English Garden

Description

Located outside the west end of Whitby Hall, this lovely English garden was planted in the mid-1920s and tended for many years by Sister Alice Irene Frieberg, a geometry professor at the College of St. Catherine. It was renovated in the 1980s and graced at that time with a sculpture of St. Francis by Professor Emeritus of Art Peter Lupori. It was rededicated as the Patrick and Alice Schreiber Rogers English Garden in 1987.
