Derham Hall

Description

When completed in 1905, Derham Hall was the first building constructed on campus and now serves as an administrative office building. It is named for Hugh Derham, a Rosemount, Minn. farmer who donated $10,000 to support founding the college. Derham Hall High School (a Catholic girl's high school) operated in the building until 1962. Derham Hall was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, with Our Lady of Victory Chapel, in 1986.
