We have received the official letter from the HLC notifying the College of its continued accreditation. The next comprehensive evaluation and visit is scheduled for 2012-2013. This is an unqualified accrediation requiring no interim reports or visits. The commission also removed the stipulation that new Master's programs must receive prior approval from the HLC.

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is part of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Association is one of six regional institutional accrediting associations in the United States. Through its Commissions it accredits, and thereby grants membership to educational institutions in the nineteen-state North Central region. All insitutions must meet the General Institutional Requirements and all five Criteria for Accreditation.
