Bird Dreams

In the series of paintings exhibited in “Bird Dreams,” I explore the complex relationship between nature and humans. On the one hand we revere the environment and the freedom that birds represent. At the same time, we seek to experiment with and control our natural surroundings.

I pursue these contradictory impulses from a surreal perspective, often combining two or more panels to form a larger painting that creates a dreamlike narrative.

Through these narratives, I also express a longing for transformation while recognizing the inherent risks that come with change. This never-ending search for balance is at the center of my work.
