2010 Mid America Print Council Members Juried Exhibition

Features dialogues between eras and technologies and is held in conjunction with the 2010 MAPC Print Conference, October 13 – 17, 2010. The artists’ reception coincides with the fall art tour, Friday, October 15. Juror: Thomas E. Rassieur, the John E. Ardus III Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

The Waiting Room

This mixed media installation incorporates sculpture, sound, and image. It senstively examines the nature of women’s health in Western culture.

Sister Mona Riley Endowed Professor in the Humanities

The Catherine Portrait investigates the relationship between the individual and the community featuring St. Catherine University community members. It is the culmination of Patricia Olson’s work as Sister Mona Riley Endowed Professor of the Humanities, 2008 – 2011.

The World Behind the World — A mid–career survey, Carol Lee Chase

David Wells, independent curator and director of Edenfred, an arist residency program located in Madison, WI, curates this exhibit featuring paintings, drawings and films by Carol Lee Chase, Professor of Studio Art, St. Catherine University.
