Proposals
The Catherine
G. Murphy Gallery presents five exhibitions during each academic calendar
year [September – May.] These exhibitions are selected a year to
a year and a half in advance of the actual show. Four of the venues
are exhibitions selected from outside proposals representing local,
national and international artists. The fifth exhibition, April-May,
is set aside for the annual Senior Art Student Juried Show.
We welcome
established artists as well as emerging artists, solo and/or group proposals
and all media. A Gallery Committee reviews all proposals on a bimonthly
basis. Artists are notified normally within two to three months of submission.
All slides are returned.
If interested in submitting a proposal, it should include the following
information:
- Letter
stating intent
- Resume
- Artist Statement
- CD of a least 15-20 images (high resolution)
- Checklist to accompany images (title, medium, size, year)
- If possible, some printed samples of images
- Email
address
- Self-addressed stamped envelope
