Amy Toscani’s large­scale sculpture vaguely suggest recognizable objects that have a similar latent function. She states that her work "have an optimistic, buoyant quality" and at the same time "a physical ruggedness about it." The viewer is often dwarfed by her work and yet her sculptures remain very approachable.
