Elemental Neighborhood by Jeff Krolick

November 12 – December 18, 2011

Krolick’s square format photographs capture the shadows cast by our homes on the infrastructure which supports them (pavement, sewers, and the ordered horticulture with which we surround ourselves). Krolick states, "These images are primarily abstract compositions of common, even mundane neighborhood sights. My challenge and pleasure in this endeavor is in seeing the familiar and overlooked with a new eye."
