My work is like an addiction; the process of sculpting clay
and taking black & white photographs is very exciting. For
myself, it's a way to express connection to family and my relationship
with nature. The work I create is often functional, such as
a water fountain, jars, or picture frames. I love being able
to use something I've created. A lot of my work is functional
on an emotional level as well, which can be seen in a few abstract
sculptures I've created, or through the connection one draws
from my photographs. I also take pleasure in creating things
for other people, and I love seeing the excitement and joy it
brings to them to have special moments or important aspects
of their lives captured through art.
